Briefing from ATA

A new reinforced plate recipe replaces screws with wire. Convert the assembler to Stitched Iron Plate, add Iron Wire production, and retire the rod and screw branches. Deliver at least five reinforced plates and ten spare wire per minute. Produce at least forty-five wire through Iron Wire. You have ninety iron ore per minute. Whole machines at one hundred percent clock are enough.

Mission constraints

  • Iron Ore: 90/min available
  • Available recipes: Alternate: Iron Wire, Alternate: Stitched Iron Plate, Iron Ingot, Iron Plate, Iron Rod, Reinforced Iron Plate, Screws.
  • Available buildings: Assembler, Constructor, Smelter.
  • Par time: 4:00 · a guide, not a deadline
  • Clock limit: 100%. Every goal can be met with whole machines at 100%. No fractional counts or precise clock tuning needed.
  • Remove obsolete machines, or change their recipe. An idle old recipe still counts as an unfinished retrofit.
  • No Somersloops.
  • Output targets count surplus available after your factory's own consumption.

Hint 1

Switch the assembler first to see its new inputs. Keep the plate supply, replace the screw connection with wire, then remove the old rod and screw machines.

Hint 2

Use three smelters, one plate constructor, three Iron Wire constructors, and one Stitched Iron Plate assembler at 100%. The assembler consumes 37.5 of the 67.5 wire produced, leaving 30 wire for the spare order.
