Briefing from ATA

Convert the assembler to Steel Rotor and feed it from the prepared pipe and wire branches. Deliver five rotors while keeping ten pipes per minute free. Retire the old rod and screw line, remove unneeded iron smelting, and rebalance within ninety iron ore, forty-five coal, and thirty copper ore per minute. Whole machines at one hundred percent clock are enough.

Mission constraints

  • Coal: 45/min available
  • Iron Ore: 90/min available
  • Copper Ore: 30/min available
  • Available recipes: Alternate: Steel Rotor, Copper Ingot, Iron Ingot, Iron Rod, Rotor, Screws, Steel Ingot, Steel Pipe, Wire.
  • Available buildings: Assembler, Constructor, Foundry, Smelter.
  • Par time: 5:00 · a guide, not a deadline
  • Clock limit: 100%. Every goal can be met with whole machines at 100%. No fractional counts or precise clock tuning needed.
  • Remove obsolete machines, or change their recipe. An idle old recipe still counts as an unfinished retrofit.
  • No Somersloops.
  • Output targets count surplus available after your factory's own consumption.

Need a nudge?

Hint 1

Steel Rotor needs pipes and wire. Some pipes must feed the assembler while ten per minute remain free. Remove the old rod-and-screw branch to release its iron supply.

Hint 2

At 100%, use one steel foundry, one pipe constructor, one copper smelter, one wire constructor, and one Steel Rotor assembler. Make 20 pipes: 10 feed the rotor assembler and 10 remain free. Remove the old iron smelting, rod, and screw branches.
